Week 1: Day 1 Better watch out , going for the knockout

Today was the 1st day of the Gold's Gym challenge. Since I have been exercising and eating right for about 2 weeks now, It really was not a big deal. I am hoping to start logging my food intake and my exercise routine but right now I am working on coming up with some sort of exercise plan and stuff. Today I dragged myself to the gym in the snow. I was planning on doing intervals on the arctrainer upstairs but they were all being used so I headed to the movie room to watch Shallow Hal. I did 30 minutes on the Arctrainer in there just at a decent pace...then I worked on my legs with the strength training equipment and did some ab work with the ball..overall it went pretty well. I ate good all day except for my weight watchers ice cream bar tonight that made me feel like I gained 10 pounds. It just shows that I do not need to even eat "healthy" crap like that anymore. I feel like I need to do a little extra at the gym tomorrow. I was planning on doing strength training everyday (upper 1 day, lower the next) but it looks like I really only need to do it 3 days a week...thats a relief. I weighed in at 171.4 today, I hope to be in the 160's by the end of the week. I think I should give up diet soda because I am not drinking enough water but I do not think I can do it..its my favorite thing in the world lol...maybe I can cut down..we will see.... so here is my motivation to win the challenge..

2. Pay of all my debt
3. Go on vacation
4. Get a divorce
5. Lose weight
6. Be Happy
7. Be famous at the golds gym HAHA

I know I can do this, just gotta stay motivated and be strong.....

  1. I totally gave up soda. Diet soda has never thrilled me and I could just tell how much sugar I was taking in every time I took a sip of the stuff. Vitamin water, however, is super yummy and an awesome substitute! Big kudos to you for doing this.

    And I must say, you look AWESOME!
